Members at Grande Meadow Golf Course achieve new contract – UFCW 1252

Frenchman’s Cove, N.L. – June 15, 2015 – UFCW Canada Local 1252 members employed at Grande Meadow Golf Course Association Inc. have achieved a new collective agreement. The members ratified the new four-year contract on May 28, 2015. The golf course is located in Frenchman's Cove, Newfoundland.

Gains in the new contract include wage increases of 30 cents in Year 1; 35 cents in Year 2; 35 cents in year 3; and 40 cents in Year 4. Premium is increased from 75 cents to $1.15 per hour.

Members of the Union Negotiating Committee included Peter Mylog, Crystal Tibbo and national representative Dave Hann.
