Young-Workers Internship Program
UFCW Canada’s National Young-Workers Internship Program (YIP) has become one of the premier training and education programs offered at the national level. This year’s YIP Atlantic region program takes place from June 4 – 9, 2023.
Young members interested in Organizing, Labour History, Globalization, anti-racism/anti-oppression and other exciting topics are encouraged to apply for this one-of-a-kind course. All costs of the program –including lost wages, travel and accommodation – will be covered by UFCW Canada.
2023 Young-Workers Internship Program regional schedule:
The week-long session, from June 4 – 9, 2023, will take place in Toronto and will focus on hot topics such as Making a Difference, Your Union, Media Literacy, and Political Economy and Democracy.
