About UFCW Canada Eastern Provinces Council
The EPC was created when the leadership of three local unions, namely Local 1288P, Local 864, and Local 1252, unanimously voted to form the Eastern Provinces Council (EPC). The reasons were clear back then and are clearer today. Together we are better, stronger and more diversified. It was the right thing to do for the membership and for the organization’s growth plans to grow UFCW Canada from coast to coast to coast.
ADL workers in western P.E.I. earn monumental deal
After nearly a full calendar year without a collective agreement, UFCW Eastern Provinces Council Local 864 members at ADL Foods, the ADL Butter Plant and the ADL Cheese Plant have agreed on a new three-year agreement.
Clarenville Retirement Centre brings in new contract
UFCW Eastern Provinces Council Local 1252 members working at the Clarenville Retirement Centre have unanimously ratified a new collective bargaining agreement just ahead of the New Year.
